Jugjugg Jeeyo’ box office collection day 1: Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani starrer earns Rs 8.65 crore

Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor starrer family drama ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has managed to score big at the box office. The film has managed to earn Rs 8.65 crore nett and has earned the fifth spot in the top opening day figures of 2022. ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has fared very well in the Delhi/UP circuit.
‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has beat the figures of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ in Delhi / UP circuits but couldn’t beat the numbers of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. Mumbai city has also fared well but overall, the Maharashtra, Gujarat circuits scored low. This family drama is expected to record a growth on Saturday.

Kiara Advani is riding high on the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and the positive response to ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ has also added to her triumphs. Speaking about the success of films, Kiara had told PTI, “When you work on a film for a long time, and the audience gives this kind of love, it’s fulfilling, motivating. Even for the industry, it’s an encouraging sign to see the audience turn up in huge numbers. This success feels gratifying and has empowered me more. I have never sat, relaxed and celebrated the success of any film… Work has always kept coming and I enjoy it. When there’s so much love and work, that is my celebration.” Next, Kiara will soon be seen in ‘Govinda Naam Mera’, co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
