‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ box office collection day 6: The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer collected Rs 3.90 crore on Wednesday; inches closer to Rs 50 crore mark

After setting the cash registers ringing at the box office on the day of its release, the Raj Mehta directorial ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ is all set to touch the Rs 50 crore mark this week.
According to a report in boxofficIndia.com, the film saw a drop of around 10 percent. It collected about Rs 3.90 crore on its first Wednesday, taking its overall collection to Rs 47.65 crore approximately.

The film reportedly remained steady on the national chains. However, it still remains weak outside metros and also mass circuits. The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer did good business in Delhi NCR and East Punjab over the weekend.

Anil, who recently clocked 39 years in Bollywood, had penned a sweet note on social media celebrating his wonderful journey in Bollywood. The actor captioned it, ‘From Prem Pratap Singh Patiyalawale in #Woh7Din to Bheem in Jug Jugg Jeeyo who’s also from Patiala! It’s been such a wonderful journey! My life changed 39 years ago TODAY and the nostalgia is real! This video is a trip down memory lane!’

In a recent interview with ETimes, the actor spoke about how the box office number doesn’t affect him anymore. According to him, he was into it earlier but now he leaves it to the producers, filmmakers and directors. He just does his best and delivers whatever he has promised. He added that it has been his thing for the last 15 years.
