ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ମୁଖ୍ୟାଳୟର ଜଣେ ଅଧିକାରୀ ବୋଲି ପରିଚୟ ଦେଇ ସାଇବର ଠକ ଏହି ଫୋନ୍ କରିଥିଲା। ପାନ୍ କାର୍ଡ ଅପ୍ଡେଟ୍ କରିବାକୁ କହିଥିଲା। ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀପ୍ରିୟା ସାଇବର ଠକର ଚାଲ୍ ବୁଝିନପାରି ତା’ କଥା ଅନୁସାରେ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ ଫୋନ୍ ଜରିଆରେ ସବୁ ତଥ୍ୟ ଦେଇଦେଲେ। ଏମିତିକି ଓଟିପି ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇଦେଲେ। ଏହା ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟରୁ ୯୯ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା କଟିଯାଇଥିଲା। ତେବେ ଏନେଇ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀପ୍ରିୟା ସଙ୍ଗେସଙ୍ଗେ ସାଇବର ଥାନାରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ପୁଲିସ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀପ୍ରିୟାଙ୍କ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟ ଥିବା ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ସହ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗ କରି ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟକୁ ସିଜ୍ କରିଦେଇଥିଲା। ଫଳରେ ଟଙ୍କା କଟିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟ ଅଚଳ ହୋଇଯାଇଥିଲା।
